How these numbers are calculated
  • Sunlight comes from NASA POWER when you pick a place. Otherwise it is one planning average for the whole country, so replace it with your site value if you have one.
  • Costs and price per kWh start from country defaults. Replace them with real quotes and your actual selling price.
  • Output falls a little each year (yearly output loss). Upkeep and price rise by the yearly rates you set under Advanced assumptions.
  • Tax is only included if you enter a tax rate. Depreciation benefits are not modelled.
  • Money is shown in the currency of the country you chose.
